Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC was born March 4 1954. O'Hara has won a number awards, including the Genie Award (a Golden Globe Award) and two Screen Actors Guild Awards and two Primetime Emmy Awards. In addition, O'Hara was awarded six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018, she was elected to the rank of an Officer of Canada. She was also presented with the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Medal in 2020. O'Hara first drew notice as an actress in 1974, as a member of The Second City improvisational comedy troupe in Toronto. Together with John Candy (1975-1978), she was part of the principal cast of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara was a part of Candy in the sketch comedy series Second City Television (1976-1984). She won critical acclaim both for her writing and acting skills and was awarded an Primetime Emmy Award, 1981, for Outstanding Writing for Variety Series. In 2022, O'Hara was added to the new Second City artistic advisory board led by Stephen Colbert, along with Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Julia Louis-Dreyfus Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows, Peter Murrieta, Suzy Nakamura, Sam Richardson, Jeff Richmond, Jason Sudeikis, and Robin Thede.
