Krystal Marie Ball

 Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24, 1981) is an American political commentator. She was a former candidate for the US Senate as well as a television presenter at MSNBC. She was also frequent contributor to The Huffington Post and co-host of The Hill's Rising, along with Saagar Enti. In May 2021, Ball and Enjeti announced that they would be leaving the show in order to launch their own project called Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball hosts Krystal Kyle & Friends' podcast along with Kyle Kulinski. Her guest appearances on the show include Fox News, CNN and Fox News. Ball has been married to Jonathan Dariyanani since 2020. Ball attributes her passion for politics due to the reality that she became a mom in the 2008 presidential primaries and was also able watch the US presidential election results while in Jordan. She was able observe how the election affected those living in Jordan and, as a result, became aware of the global impact US politics has on people around the world. She was a Senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was chosen by the Democratic Party to represent Virginia's 1stCongressional District in the election of 2010. However, she lost to Rob Wittman. She hosted the MSNBC program The Cycle from June 2012 until July 2015. In May of 2017, she created the People's House Project, a political action committee working on behalf of Democratic causes.
