Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki is a American political adviser who was the 34th White House news secretary between 2021 and 221. A member of the Democratic Party, Psaki was previously the White House deputy secretary (2009), White House deputy communication director (2009-2011) and spokesperson for United States Department of State 2013-2015 and White House communications Director (2015-2017). Psaki was a political contributor to CNN between 2017-2020. Psaki began her career in 2001 by working on the re-election campaigns of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki was later appointed as the press secretary's assistant in John Kerry's 2004 presidential race. Psaki also served as communications director for Joseph Crowley (U.S.) and as regional press Secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was press secretary to President Obama's 2012 reelection campaigns. 20 Psaki quit as spokesperson for the United States Department of State on February 11 2013. [20] It was speculated that she was to replace Jay Carney as White House Press Secretary.[21But, Josh Earnest was announced to succeed Carney on May 30 the 30th of May, 2014. She returned to White House in 2015 to become the communications director. She was with the Obama administration until its end.
